Abstract

The invention discloses a millimeter wave antenna and a terminal. The millimeter wave antenna comprises a dielectric substrate; a plurality of radiation units which are located on the upper surface of the dielectric substrate, wherein the plurality of radiation units are divided into a first radiation array and a second radiation array, the radiation units of the first radiation array are connected in series for feeding, and the radiation units of the second radiation array are connected in series for feeding; a feeder line which is located on the upper surface of the dielectric substrate and is provided with a first branch line and a second branch line, wherein the second branch line is provided with a matching unit, a first branch line of the feeder is in feed with the first radiation array, a second branch line of the feeder is in feed with the second radiation array, and the electrical length of the matching unit is a half of the wavelength. According to the millimeter wave antenna, the feeder line is divided into the two branch lines through the matching unit, so the antenna arrays which are fed in series on the two sides can radiate in the same direction. According to the millimeter wave antenna, a mode of combining the variable line width matching section and the interdigital capacitor is adopted, so that a matching range with wider direct connection and edge coupling can be obtained.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an antenna, in particular to a millimeter wave antenna. Background technique [0002] The rapid development of the new generation of mobile communication technology (5G) has put forward more and more stringent requirements for wireless communication equipment. Antenna is one of its key parts, and its performance directly determines the communication quality and user experience. In order to improve the information transmission rate, the operating frequency band of the antenna is raised to the millimeter wave frequency band, and the antenna is often required to have a wider bandwidth and a higher gain. As the frequency increases, the metal loss has a more significant impact on the antenna efficiency and affects the gain of the antenna. At the same time, the space provided by the mobile phone terminal for the millimeter-wave antenna is extremely limited, and the miniaturization and compactness of the antenna is very important. I...
