According to the method, starting state constraints, starting action constraints, maximum starting time constraints and minimum continuous operation time constraints of thecirculating water pumps are taken into account, a mixed integer linear circulating water pump day-ahead start-stop plan optimization model is established with the aim of minimizing the total operationtime of all the circulating water pumps in a heat supply network, and the optimal scheduling of the circulating water pump day-ahead start-stop plan is realized. Compared with a traditional method, according to the novel method, the day-ahead start-stop plan meeting the operation constraints of the circulating water pumps is obtained by solving the mathematical optimization problem, and the result has the global optimality. The method can be used for formulating the day-ahead start-stop plan of the circulating water pumps in the heat supply network, the total operation time of all the circulating water pumps in the heat supply network is minimized, and the energy consumption of the circulating water pumps and the operation cost of the heat supply network are favorably reduced.
