Problems solved by technology

[0002] Modern transportation, navigation, national defense, and industry and agriculture are all inseparable from ropes. With the trend of shipbuilding ocean-going transportation and port tugboats becoming larger in size and loading capacity, ship supporting requirements have entered a new stage of differentiation, especially Ships with super large containers, ships in special industries, tugboats in ports, ships in marine engineering and other projects all need a new type of rope with low water absorption, high strength, softness, good wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and easy operation. The cable can not fully have the above properties

Embodiment Construction

[0011] The rope strands in the eight-strand rope of the present invention adopt the twisting mode of four Z-twisting and four S-twisting alternately spaced hollow weaving;

[0012] Selection and design of rope strand material and structure. The rope strand is composed of rope core, rope strand and surface treatment layer. The rope core is twisted by high molecular weight polyethylene fiber, and the outer layer is twisted and woven by high molecular weight polyethylene fiber. ;

[0013] The outer layer of high molecular polyethylene is impregnated with the surface treatment layer of ethanol or propylene glycol solvent.

[0014] The molecular weight of the high molecular weight polyethylene is above 3 million.

[0015] The mass concentration of the ethanol or propylene glycol solvent is 40-60%.

[0016] A flame retardant layer is arranged outside the surface treatment layer.

Abstract

The invention relates to a high-molecular-weight polyethylene fiber eight-strand rope. Eight strands herein include four Z-twist and four S-twist ones subjected to alternate hollow braiding by twisting; in terms of the selection and design of strand material and structure, the strands are composed of a core, a strand body and a surface treatment layer, the core is made by twisting high-molecular-weight polyethylene fibers, an outer layer is made by braiding twisted yarns of the high-molecular-weight polyethylene fibers, and the outer layer of the high-molecular-weight polyethylene is infiltrated with the surface treatment layer with an ethanol or propylene glycol solvent. The high-molecular-weight polyethylene fibers have high specific strength and high specific modulus, so that the rope herein can float on water and is nearly twice as high as aromatic amide fibers in elongation, chemical corrosion resistance and impact absorbing capacity; the cores made with twisted fibers have excellent impact resistance and cutting resistance; the outer layer is made with braided twisted yarns, so that the rope herein is convenient for human hands to hold with rarity of loosening; the high-molecular-weight polyethylene fibers selected herein help reduce the high labor intensity in marine project construction due to high water absorption, and provide improved construction efficiency; the surface treatment layers can soften the rope herein and prevent mildews, so that the life of the rope is extended.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a high-molecular-weight polyethylene fiber eight-strand rope, which belongs to the technical field of ropes. Background technique [0002] Modern transportation, navigation, national defense, and industry and agriculture are all inseparable from ropes. High-quality cables cannot fully possess the above properties. Contents of the invention [0003] In view of the above defects, the present invention aims to provide a high molecular weight polyethylene f...
