Abstract

The invention discloses a peak-to-average ratio suppression system of an optical OFDM system, and in particular relates to a bandwidth saving type peak-to-average ratio suppression system based on anAPTS technology in an optical OFDM system. Suppression on the high peak-to-average ratio is realized mainly through an interleaved-partition partial transmission sequence (Interleaved-partition partial transmission sequence APTS) technology based on boundless band information transmission. In the system, an optical OFDM signal is mapped by considering a novel constellation graph; furthermore, a phase rotation vector used by each optical OFDM symbol at a transmitter end is calculated through signal processing at a receiver end; the original optical OFDM signal is finally recovered; and simulated analysis shows that the system in the invention can realize boundless band information transmission and save the bandwidth, and also has better peak-to-average ratio suppression performance.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of optical communication, more specifically, to an optical OFDM system based on APTS [0002] technology bandwidth-saving peak-to-average ratio suppression system. Background technique [0003] Optical Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing - Optical OFDM system combines the advantages of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing - OFDM technology and optical fiber communication in radio frequency communication systems. However, there is a problem of high peak-to-average power ratio-PAPR in optical OFDM systems. High PAPR drives high-power amplifiers to work in the nonlinear region, which will increase in-band distortion and out-of-band radiation, which will lead to the degradation of optical OFDM system performance. In order to effectively suppress the impact of high PAPR on optical OFDM systems, experts and scholars at home and abroad have proposed many solutions for high PAPR, such as clipping-Clippi...
