The hot-rolled 430 ferrite antibacterial stainless steel comprises less than or equal to 0.01% of C, less than or equal to 0.75% of Si, less than or equal to 1.0% of Mn, less than or equal to 0.04% of P, less than or equal to 0.03% of S, 16-18% of Cr, less than or equal to 0.6% of Ni, 1.8-2.5% of Cu, and the balance Fe and impurities. The preparation method comprises the following steps of smelting, continuous casting, hot rolling and antibacterial annealing.
