Abstract

The invention discloses an energy-efficient user access and power control method for a heterogeneous network. A logarithmic utility model is introduced to jointly optimize user access and power control of the heterogeneous network, so as to maximize a utility value of network energy efficiency. The method comprises the following steps that first, all base stations estimate according to pilot sequences so as to obtain current user channel state information; then, the base stations raise a problem of maximum utility of network energy efficiency; and finally, the base stations consider a problemof optimal user access and power control, convert the original problem into a series of convex sub-problems, perform alternating iterative optimization till the algorithm converges so as to obtain anoptimal user access and transmission power allocation solution. The method considers optimization of user access and power control in the heterogeneous network comprehensively, uses the utility of network energy efficiency as an optimized target function, and realizes efficient transmission while ensuring user fairness and throughput.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a highly energy-efficient heterogeneous network user access and power control method, and belongs to the technical field of heterogeneous network energy efficiency management. Background technique [0002] Heterogeneous network is a new type of network topology. The traditional cellular network is only equipped with a single macro base station, while the heterogeneous network is equipped with some small base stations with low transmission power in addition to the macro base station. The macro base station mainly ensures seamless Coverage, small base stations can be used to improve the rate of edge users. Due to the low cost and flexible configuration of small base stations, the spectral efficiency of heterogeneous networks can be greatly improved. While improving system performance, the design of heterogeneous networks also faces many challenges. [0003] User access is a problem worthy of consideration in a heterogeneous net...
