Abstract

The invention provides a modular expansible intraluminal brachytherapy appliance which at least comprises an appliance body, wherein a drainage channel, an airbag and an airbag filling channel are formed inside the appliance body; the airbag filling channel is communicated with the airbag; a detachable particle bar insertion bin is arranged on the appliance body and is used for placing detachable particle bars; and the detachable particle bars are used for loading radioactive particles. When the airbag is expanded, the detachable particle bars inserted into the bin are pushed to expand to the periphery by the expanded airbag, so that the particle bars can be smoothly attached to tumor when the tumor is regressed. The appliance is arranged in the human tract under noninvasive / minimally invasive procedure conditions, so that intraluminal brachytherapy of the tumor is realized; and meanwhile, a certain particle bar can be directly detached or added according to needs, and the quantity and positions of the inside particles are adjusted so as to optimize the ray dose distribution of the radioactive particles. Moreover, the whole appliance does not need to be pulled out, the treatment steps are optimized, and discomfort of the patient in the treatment process is greatly reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of medical appliances, in particular to a modular expandable intracavity radiotherapy appliance for performing intracavity radiotherapy on malignant tumors in various cavities of the human body. Background technique [0002] Human cavity tumors (such as digestive tract, ureter, biliary tract, and intravascular malignant tumors) are more sensitive to radiotherapy, which is an effective method for treating advanced tumors and is widely used in clinical practice. However, since most of the current radiotherapy for tumors is external radiotherapy, complications such as radiation pneumonitis, radiation enteritis, and lumen stenosis after radiotherapy may occur, seriously affecting the quality of life of tumor patients. Radioactive particles have been widely used in the treatment of malignant tumors, and satisfactory clinical results have been obtained. Moreover, the metal-encapsulated radioactive particles are convenient ...
