The detection method comprises following steps of: dividing a bridge into m sub-structures, and setting an impact force input point and a displacement output point on each sub-structure; successively acting impact force on each sub-structure of a bridge block; synchronously adopting a microwave radar device to acquire displacement time-history data of the displacement output node of each sub-structure; solving a frequency response function of each sub-structure; according to the frequency response function of each sub-structure, identifying a modal parameter of each sub-structure; constructing an MAC matrix of each sub-structure and identifying front k stage modal shape direction coefficient of each sub-structure; adopting a self-adaption genetic algorithm, identifying a modal shape direction coefficient of all stages of each sub-structure; and carrying out flexibility matrix calculation and deflection prediction on all structures. According to the invention, a low-cost and highly-efficient vibration test for known input force of a bridge structure can be truly achieved and the detection method and the detection device can be prompted and applied to detection and safety general investigation of a bridge structure.
