Abstract

The method can satisfy linearization requirements of a millimetre-wave power amplifier / system and can be widely applied to a modern millimetre-wave wireless communication transmitting system, in particular a complex multi-carrier modulation system. Generation of an accurate pre-distortion signal is the key and the difficulty of a millimetre-wave pre-distortion linearization technology. According to the invention, sampling of a nonlinear distortion signal of the power amplifier is realized by adopting a zero-intermediate-frequency extraction technology; control of the amplitude and the phase of a distortion sampled signal is realized by adopting an intermediate-frequency amplitude and phase control technology; the pre-distortion signal is accurately generated in combination with an up-conversion technology; therefore, a feedback type pre-distortion linearization architecture is formed; and thus, the self-adaptive linearization effect is realized. The feedback type pre-distortion linearization method disclosed by the invention is low in influence on the output power of the millimetre-wave power amplifier and can be applied to a millimetre-wave high-power transmitting system; the pre-distortion signal can be generated in a wide frequency band; requirements of a broadband communication system can be satisfied; controllable pre-distortion linearization of a millimetre-wave broadband is realized; and the feedback type pre-distortion linearization method is simple in circuit structure and can be realized through the existing processes and technological conditions.
