Abstract

The invention discloses application of prescriptions composed of vitamin C and baicalein in cervical cancer treatment. A plurality dosages of baicalein and vitamin C form different prescriptions, and the prescriptions are compared with corresponding dosage of single baicalein and single vitamin C and act on U14 cervical cancer tumor-bearing mouse models and HeLa cells. Animal experiments show that the prescriptions composed of the vitamin C and the baicalein are better in tumor inhibiting effect and smaller in toxic and side effects as compared with single vitamin C and single baicalein. Cell experiment results show that when same medicine dosage acts on cells for 12 hours, the cells in prescription groups start to atrophy and deform, and the number of cells is reduced; when the same medicine dosage acts on the cells for 36 hours, cell structures disappear, most cells die, and the inhibiting effect of the prescription groups is evidently better than that of the single vitamin C and single baicalein groups.
