The embodiment of the present disclosure discloses a method and equipment for processing data on a packet data convergence protocol layer. The method comprises receiving packet data units of a packet data convergence protocol sent from at least one of at least one main base station and at least one auxiliary base station at user equipment. The method also comprises sequencing the received packet data units on the packet data convergence protocol layer of the user equipment for realizing at least one of sending to a high layer in sequence or determining lost packet data units.
