Abstract

The invention discloses a montmorillonite suspension for treating acute diarrhea. The montmorillonite suspension is composed of montmorillonite, glucose, a natural polymer suspending agent, sodium benzoate and a proper amount of purified water. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the montmorillonite suspension for treating the acute diarrhea. The method comprises the following steps: putting the montmorillonite, the glucose, the natural polymer suspending agent and the sodium benzoate by proportion into a sealed tank, sufficiently stirring, shaking and uniformly mixing, grinding the mixtures and refining to sieve by a 325-mesh sieve; and adding enough purified water, fully stirring to obtain the suspension, getting a constant volume, homogenizing, sterilizing and packaging. The montmorillonite is processed into the suspension so that the granule is refined, the absorbing force is big, and the protection effect on the gastrointestinal mucous membrane is strong; and the pathogene can be effectively eliminated and the pharmacologic action is rapidly developed.
