Abstract

The invention discloses a treatment method for reducing COD in sewage. The treatment method comprises the following steps: (1) temperature reduction and oil removal; (2) micro-electrolysis treatment; (3) treatment in an oil separator; (4) further oil spilling; (5) treatment in a UASB reactor: adding the wastewater into lignin and wollastonite powder to be uniformly mixed, discharging the mixture into the UASB reactor for anaerobic treatment, and repeating for several times to convert organic materials in the wastewater into methane; and (6) treatment in an aeration tank: pumping the wastewater into the aeration tank for aerobic treatment to further reduce the content of COD in the wastewater, then, discharging the treated sewage into a secondary sedimentation tank for sedimentation, and discharging sludge to obtain purified water.
