Embodiment Construction

[0039] A technical solution of a dielectric-filled metal slot waveguide according to the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, but the scope of protection of the present invention is not limited to the implementation example.

[0040] figure 1 The basic structure of the dielectric-filled metal slot waveguide is given, including the metal slot 101 and the dielectric 102 filled in the slot. The electromagnetic wave propagates longitudinally along the groove, the depth h of the groove determines the cut-off frequency of the electromagnetic wave mode, and the width w of the groove affects the distribution of the electromagnetic wave mode in the upper half space.

Abstract

The invention discloses a terahertz medium-filled metallic channel waveguide. The terahertz medium-filled metallic channel waveguide structurally comprises a metallic channel and a medium filled in the channel. An electromagnetic wave is propagated along the longitudinal direction of the channel, the fundamental mode thereof is a transverse electric mode, the higher mode is a transverse magnetic mode, and the cut-off frequency is decided by the depth of the channel. The invention gives the characteristic equation of the propagation constant of the fundamental mode. The terahertz medium-filled metallic channel waveguide disclosed by the invention is simple in structure, low in loss, and easy to integrate. The invention enumerates various passive devices capable of being based on the waveguide structure. In particular, the terahertz medium-filled metallic channel waveguide disclosed by the invention is used as a series feed network for an antenna array, and capable of realizing a terahertz antenna array which is simple to feed, high in gain, with a planar structure, and easy to integrate. The terahertz medium-filled metallic channel waveguide disclosed by the invention is capable of being used for a terahertz high-speed wireless communication and radar system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of terahertz technology, and in particular relates to a terahertz medium-filled metal groove waveguide, which can be used in high-speed wireless communication systems and radar systems. Background technique [0002] In recent years, terahertz electromagnetic spectrum has attracted much attention due to its many advantages, such as open spectrum resources, wireless high-speed communication, terahertz imaging, non-destructive flaw detection, safety inspection, etc. Terahertz systems have important roles in industry, science and medicine. value. However, due to the sharp increase in operating frequency, it also poses new challenges to researchers. Among them, studying effective terahertz waveguides and efficiently radiating or receiving terahertz waves has become a key goal. [0003] Generally, the design of existing terahertz waveguides is derived from waveguides in two frequency bands adjacent to its operating frequen...
