Embodiment 1)

Abstract

The present invention relates to a vinyl chloride resin composition for wallpaper, comprising diethylhexylcyclohexane as a plasticizer. The diethylhexylcyclohexane of the present invention may replace controversial phthalate-based plasticizers and thus prevent environmental contamination. The vinyl chloride resin composition of the present invention uses the diethylhexylcyclohexane plasticizer, which has a much lower initial viscosity and lower temperature viscosity, and which exhibits many fewer changes as time elapses as compared to conventional phthalate-based plasticizers as well as to dioctyl terephthalate, which serves as an alternative to phthalate-based plasticizers, thus improving workability. The vinyl chloride resin composition of the present invention generates less volatile organic compounds than conventional compositions, and thus may be widely applied to eco-friendly products.
