Embodiment 1

[0028] Embodiment 1: Invention process such as figure 1 shown,

[0029] 1. Point cloud data acquisition

[0030] The steps to scan a tree with a 3D laser scanner are as follows:

[0031] (1) Station design steps,

[0032] According to the position, size and shape of the sample trees and the main tree measuring factors, design the position of each scanning station and control point; require at least three control points to overlap between each station, so that the point cloud data can be unified under the instrument coordinate system;

[0033] (2) global scan step,

[0034] Set up a scanner on the selected station for scanning. In order to improve the scanning speed, low-precision scanning can be used for global scanning; the scanner automatically scans according to the parameters set in the software environment (number of rows, columns, and scanning resolution, etc.) ;

[0035] (3) Partial scanning step,

[0036] After the global scan is completed at each station, it is ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for extracting parameters of tree branches based on ground laser radar three-dimensional scanning and belongs to the technical field of point cloud data processing of the ground laser radar three-dimensional scanning and the technical field of visualization model simulation of tree forms. The method comprises the following steps: utilizing a ground three-dimensional scanner as a data acquisition platform, scanning and obtaining point cloud data of the tree branches, and dividing the point cloud data of the tree branches into different parts; stratifying the point cloud data in the height direction of the tree, extracting point cloud isolines of different heights of the tree by means of a convex hull algorithm, and constructing tree branch triangular mesh between adjacent isolines by means of a triangulation network growth algorithm; combining a triangulation network of different parts of a tree, and constructing an overall triangulation network model of the tree branches. The parameters of the tree branches are extracted by means of ray collision detection technology, the error between the parameters and the actual measured value is kept to be within 5%, requirements of forest measurement can be met, and the efficiency of forest measurement can be greatly improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a tree branch parameter extraction method based on ground laser radar three-dimensional scanning, and belongs to two technical fields of ground laser radar three-dimensional scanning point cloud data processing and tree shape visualization model simulation. Background technique [0002] The acquisition of tree branch parameters provides an indispensable data basis for tree visualization simulation. Using traditional methods to measure tree branch parameters requires the support of a large number of field survey data, the investigation of large-sample tree morphological indicators, and the complex and difficult field survey environment It needs a simple and fast operation, practical and reliable technology to quickly obtain the morphological model parameters of each tree. Ground 3D laser scanning, as a new type of surveying and mapping technology that can automatically, continuously and quickly acquire 3D point cloud data of obj...
