Abstract

The invention provides a preparation method for a steelhead trout and brook trout hybrid triploid seed. The preparation method includes the steps that a fertilized egg is obtained through hybridization of the steelhead trout and the brook trout; the fertilized egg is soaked in 6-DMAP (dimethylanminopyridine) solution, hatched and cultivated; and the hybrid triploid seed is produced. During incubation period, eyed rate of the fertilized egg is 77%, and hatching rate of the seed reaches above 90%. Then the obtained larvae is detected through a flow cytometry, and triploid rate of the obtained larvae reaches above 90%. With the preparation method, large-scale production of the steelhead trout and brook trout hybrid triploid seed is realized, and growth speed and disease-resistant ability of the trout are enhanced, thereby improving economic efficiency for farmers and bringing good market value.
