Problems solved by technology

In this solution, a large number of P2P files need to be downloaded in advance, and a huge file database needs to be maintained locally; another problem is that when this solution is applied in the campus network, it also needs to occupy the egress bandwidth to download P2P files in advance. It also cannot solve the problem that the egress bandwidth of the campus network is occupied by P2P applications

Embodiment 1

[0029] During specific implementation, when a user starts a P2P application, a TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) connection will first be established between the P2P client on the internal network and the P2P application server on the external network. During this process, the P2P traffic can be identified through the P2P traffic identification method.

[0030] Traditional P2P traffic identification methods can be divided into three categories: port mapping (Port Mapping), deep packet inspection (Deep Packet Inspection, DPI) and traffic feature detection (Deep Flow Identify, DFI). Among them, the port mapping method is to identify according to the transport layer ports used by various P2P applications; the deep packet inspection is to identify by analyzing the load of the application layer and extracting the characteristic strings of various P2P applications. The traffic feature detection method detects P2P traffic by statistically analyzing all data packets in the network tr...

Embodiment 2

[0057] Embodiment 2 On the basis of Embodiment 1, a method for updating the list of files to be downloaded by the intranet client, the list of files owned by the intranet client and the list of files owned by the external network P2P application server is provided.

[0058] Wherein, the method for updating the list of files to be downloaded on the intranet client may include the following steps:

[0059] Step 1, the egress gateway device extracts the identifier of the file to be downloaded carried in the P2P data packet after obtaining the P2P data packet in which the first intranet P2P client interacts with the external network P2P application server;

[0060] Step 2: The egress gateway device adds the identifier of the file to be downloaded to the list of files to be downloaded by the intranet client.

[0061] During specific implementation, the egress gateway device also needs to extract the content corresponding to each other field contained in the list of files to be down...

Abstract

The invention discloses gateway equipment and a method and a device for optimization of campus network export P2P (peer-to-peer) traffic. The gateway equipment, the method and the device are used for reducing occupancy of export bandwidth by P2P applications and guaranteeing operation of key services of real-time services and the like. The method for optimization of P2P traffic includes: after a first intranet P2P client is connected with an extranet P2P application server, obtaining a P2P data packet by interaction of the first intranet P2P client with the extranet P2P application server, wherein the P2P data packet carries an identifier of a to-be-downloaded file; determining whether a file list of an intranet client includes the identifier of the to-be-downloaded file or not; and if the file list of the intranet client includes the identifier of the to-be-downloaded file, returning second intranet P2P client information including the to-be-downloaded file, and disconnecting the first intranet P2P client with the extranet P2P application server.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of network communication, in particular to a P2P traffic optimization method, device and gateway equipment at the egress of a campus network. Background technique [0002] The campus network usually refers to the campus network of a university or the intranet of an enterprise. Its main feature is that the network, especially the routing structure, is completely managed by one organization, such as figure 1 As shown in , it is a schematic diagram of a typical campus network topology. A typical campus network is generally divided into three layers. The access switch is connected to the user PC and is responsible for user access; the aggregation and core switch is responsible for the routing of the entire network, and the egress router generally interconnects multiple Internet service providers (ISP, Internet Service Provider), ISP That is to say, operators who comprehensively provide Internet access s...
