Abstract

The invention discloses a compound modified zinc alloy, which is prepared by adding a rare earth and nickel-titanium compound modifier in a conventional die-cast zinc alloy production process and smelting. The compound modified zinc alloy comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 3.9-4.0% of aluminum, 0.03-0.04% of magnesium, less than 0.07% of impurity ingredients containing lead, iron, cadmium, tin and the like and the balance of zinc; and the compound modifier is a complex of rare earth metal and a nickel-titanium additive and accounts for 0.00020-0.0050% by weight. The modified zinc alloy disclosed by the invention has the advantages of excellent mechanical property and machining performance, low melting point temperature, good corrosion resistance, difficulty in cracking and deformation, high surface smoothness of a die-cast piece, extremely excellent balance between physical property and mechanical property and excellent castability, and is suitable for various die-cast pieces.
