In the method, a PSO algorithm is combined with an SVM algorithm; the PSO algorithm is used for optimizing parameters c and g of the SVM algorithm so as to rapidly and efficiently determine global optimums of the c and the g; and based on the optimized c and g, the SVM algorithm predicts different water qualities by using masses of influence factors influencing the water qualities as eigenvectors and identifies and determines the main influence factors on the water qualities of the rivers flowing into the Tai Lake through the predictive rate.
