Abstract

The invention discloses a process for manufacturing needled wool felt. The process comprises the following steps of: mixing and dyeing proper wool fibers; feeding weighed wool fibers into a cotton mixing box for full mixing; removing excessive component residues; carding the wool fibers by using an opener and feeding the carded wool fibers into a cotton storage box by using wind power; processing the wool fibers in the cotton storage box into a thin net consisting of single fibers by a roller and clearer card; lapping the thin net to be a fiber net by using a planar lapping machine; processing and fixing the fiber net by using a needling machine; and performing surface calendering on the fiber net by using a three-roll calender to ensure uniform and consistent thickness. By the process for producing the needled wool felt, the fiber net is reinforced by using a needling method and does not need to be sewed with yarn; and the process is favorable for shortening the process flow, improves the processing efficiency and reduces the production cost.
