Abstract

The invention discloses a method for separating and purifying C60 by using simulated moving bed chromatography so as to improve the purity and the yield of C60 products. The method comprises the following steps: carbon dust obtained through arc discharge is extracted via toluene to obtain coarse fullerene as the raw material; the methanol / toluene mixed solvent is taken as a mobile phase, the purification is performed through a simulated moving bed, and the purification process includes selection of chromatographic packing material and the mobile phase, preparation of sample solution, preparation of the mobile phase and parameter selection of the simulated moving bed chromatography; then the residual liquid and the liquid extract of the simulated moving bed product are concentrated without liquid respectively through a thin-film rotary vaporator and are dried in a vacuum drying oven to be at constant weight after being eluted with toluene; and finally, the C60 finished product with the purity of 99 percent is obtained through detection by an HPLC method. The invention has high concentration ratio of the separated and purified C60, saves a great amount of mobile phases, can realize the large-scale continuous production and greatly reduces the production cost.
