The method of the invention creates an indirect ELISA method for deltamethrin pesticide in food, thus providing a rapid and high-efficiency detecting means for detecting the residues of deltamethrin in food. The method of the invention is low in cost and good in stableness and repeatability due to the adoption of the polyclonal antibody.
