Abstract

The invention discloses a corn multifunctional composite drought-resistant water retention agent and a preparation method thereof. The water retention agent is made from corn flour, polyacrylic acid, polyglycol, an adhesive agent, a salt compound, microelements, agricultural boric acid rare earth and a plant growth regulator which are prepared according to a certain proportion. The preparation method comprises the following steps that: (A) the corn flour and water are added in a container; (B) pasting is carried out at a certain temperature; (C) polyglycol, polyacrylic acid and adhesive agentare added and mixed after pasting so as to generate a gelatinous material; (D) the gelatinous material undergoes reaction in nitrogen gas and then is neutralized by calcium hydroxide; and (E), through graft copolymerization, explosive polymerization, cooling, slicing, drying and crushing, a natural macromolecular graft copolymer is obtained, and then a salt compound, microelements, agricultural nitric acid rare earth and a plant growth regulator are added to carry out crushing and mixing, thereby generating a mixture. The corn multifunctional composite drought-resistant water retention agent has quick water-absorption speed, strong water-absorption capacity, easily implemented method, simple technical process and convenient operation, and is suitable to be used in production in small and medium-sized enterprises.
