Quick Barrel Change Firearm

A firearm can have a backbone, a barrel, a swinging wedge, and a barrel latch, in accordance with one or more embodiments. The barrel latch can be in mechanical communication with the swinging wedge. The barrel latch can have a first position and a second position and the swinging wedge can be configured to maintain attachment of the barrel to the backbone when the barrel latch is in the first position and is configured to release the barrel from the backbone when the barrel latch is in the second position. Thus, the firearm can provide quick barrel changes. Other features enhance the reliability and utility of the firearm.

Pivotable shoulder stock and handgun combination

A pivotable shoulder stock for use in combination with a handgun includes a mirror and allows the user to aim and fire an equipped laser handgun around the corner of a building or other obstacle. The user is able to fire with relative accuracy from behind a building or other obstacle using the mirror attached to the shoulder stock. The mirror can be adjustably positioned for viewing in order to fire the handgun at about a ninety degree (90°) angle in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. The mirror can be revolved to a downward posture when firing the handgun in a linear direction similar to a rifle or for storage purposes. The pivotable shoulder stock is relatively simple to operate and can be quickly adjusted by latching the second section against the first section for use as a hand weapon rather than being shoulder fired.

Folding stock adaptor for military-style assault rifles and a method for its use

The present folding stock adapter can be used with many types of military-type assault rifles that typically comprise a receiver extension, buffer and action spring. The present folding stock adapter can be used to add a folding capability to a standard stock allowing it to fold against a rifle's receiver when the weapon is not in use, thus reducing the overall length of the weapon. This reduction in length can facilitate its maneuverability, storage and transport in cramped quarters. The present device can also allow for the quick unfolding of the stock in order to allow the weapon to function and be fired normally.

Foldable Firearm

The present invention is a spring-biased folding firearm that stows compactly and safely. The firearm has three main components: a stock, a receiver and a grip / magazine combination. In folding, the stock folds over the receiver, sandwiching the grip / magazine between the components. When folded, the magazine over-inserts into the grip housing, allowing the stock to clear and providing additional safety when stowed by isolating the ammunition feed. A buttplate latches over the open joint to contain the unit and further secure it. When stowed, the bolt is disengaged from the ammunition feed supply, preventing accidental firing, so a loaded round can be safely carried in the chamber—allowing for immediate use of the firearm upon opening. The weapon is deployed through single-handed actuation and is spring-assisted into firing position. Currently the firearm uses readily available aftermarket parts for easier replacement if necessary and does contain hardware for mounting accessories.

Paintball loader

A paintball gun loader. The loader is used in a closed-bolt paintball gun. The loader provides a paintball contact surface that moves in oscillating fashion in response to movement of the bolt to load individual paintballs into the gun while the gun loading port is open, which occurs as the gun cycles when fired. The loader includes a spring element that limits the force exerted on the paintball being loaded, even in case of a jam when the paintball contact surface is urged toward the paintball. In one embodiment, a pivotally mounted flexible lever arm having a paintball contact surface oscillates through an angular range of motion in response to a cam surface of the bolt engaging a cam follower on the the loader. In such embodiment, the cam follower is urged toward the cam surface of the bolt, which in turn biases the paintball contact surface toward an open, paintball receiving position.

Gas Regulator System

A gas regulator block can be configured to mount to a barrel of a firearm. A gas regulator can be disposed substantially within the gas regulator block and can be configured to adjustably vary an amount of gas flow through the gas regulator block. A cover configured to cover a portion of the gas regulator block to inhibit inadvertent adjustment of the amount of gas flow and configured to uncover the portion of the gas regulator block to facilitate intentional adjustment of the amount of gas flow. A gas passage can be formed in the gas regulator block in a forward location and the gas port can be configured to communicate gas from the barrel to the gas regulator.

An improved shim construction incorporating a thin body exhibiting a profile generally matching a selected mounting ear of a lower assembleable receiver, the shim including an arcuate perimeter with an flat interconnected base surface. The body exhibits an aperture defined therein such that, upon placement between an inner facing surface of the ear and an intermediate positioned cylindrical shaped portion, a subsequent widthwise traversing installation of a pivot pin causes the shim body to be sandwiched between the receivers to occupys an excess tolerance, thereby reducing or eliminating instances of misaligning slop or play exhibited between the receivers. The shim may exhibit a thickness in a range of 0.001″ to 0.010″. A plurality of shims can be provided as a kit and which are applied in scalable fashion to compensate for varying excess tolerance established between the receivers.

Breach lock

The breach lock is for use in securing open the breach of an assault rifle during cleaning of the bolt action and the breach between uses of the assault rifle. The breach lock includes a notch along a top of the breach lock and a hole along the breach lock, which define a length. The breach lock is inserted between the upper receiver assembly and the lower receiver assembly so as to prevent any rotation there between. The notch bolts to the upper receiver assembly whereas the hole employs the pin of the assault rifle to engage the lower receiver assembly. The breach lock is simple in installation and removal with use of an assault rifle, and prevents unwanted collapse between the upper and lower receiver assemblies, which would otherwise pinch or injure the hand and fingers of an end user when cleaning.
