Abstract

The mesoporous TiO2 is synthesized through dissolving tetrabutyl titanate in anhydrous alcohol and adding water solution of phosphotungstic acid via stirring; taking the mixture, rotation evaporating and washing; vacuum drying and roasting at 500deg.C for 3 hr. The present invention utilizes the Keggin structure of phosphotungstic acid to form hydrogen bond between the water molecule and phosphotungstic acid molecule and to serve as template agent so as to synthesize the mesoporous material and modify TiO2 simultaneously. The mesoporous TiO2 has great specific surface area, homogeneous pore size, ordered structure and excellent stability.
