Abstract

Said method includes the following steps: (1), using 0.1-2 ml of oil sample to be detected, adding isometric alkaline solution whose concentration is above 60% in a container, mixing them; (2), then adding ethyl alcohol whose concentration is above 95% and whose added quantity is 20-40 times said mixed solution; (3), placing said container in a hot water bath with 80 deg.C-100 deg.C, heating and shaking; and (4) adding boiling water and visually inspecting, if said solution produce cloudy phenomenon, it can judge that in the edible oil the mineral oil is contained.
