Abstract

A photocatalytically active apatite-containing thin film is prepared by a method comprising the steps of: preparing a liquid mixture containing a Ca-containing compound and a P-containing compound; reacting the liquid mixture to prepare an apatite precursor composition; applying an apatite precursor composition to a substrate; and drying the applied apatite precursor composition.
