Problems solved by technology

[0007] At present, the target of CMV RNAi prevention and control is mainly aimed at the 2b gene on its genomic RNA2. Studies have shown that spraying dsRNA targeting the CMV 2b gene on the leaves can provide 40% resistance to tobacco and 60% resistance to pepper. However, for other target genes of CMV, including 1a, 2a, MP and CP, whether exogenous administration of dsRNA has antiviral effect has not been reported

Abstract

The invention relates to a RNA interference sequence targeting a cucumber mosaic virus, an expression vector thereof and application. The cucumber mosaic virus targeted RNA interference sequence is double-stranded RNA, is composed of a sense strand and an antisense strand, and is an interference sequence GT1 of a GT1 gene specifically targeting CMV-1a protein, or an interference sequence GT2 of a GT2 gene specifically targeting CMV-1a protein, or an interference sequence GT3 of a GT3 gene specifically targeting CMV-2a protein, or an interference sequence GT4 of a GT4 gene specifically targeting CMV-2a protein, or an interference sequence GT5 of a GT5 gene specifically targeting CMV-CP protein, or an interference sequence GT16 of a GT6 gene specifically targeting CMV-MP protein. The double-stranded RNA interference sequence is used for degrading target messenger RNA, reducing expression of target protein, effectively silencing CMV genes and controlling CMV infection, and has the characteristic of environmental friendliness and high commercial application value.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of prevention and control of agricultural diseases and insect pests, and in particular relates to an RNA interference sequence targeting cucumber mosaic virus, an expression vector and application thereof. Background technique [0002] Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) is distributed worldwide, with a wide range of hosts, many strains, and a large number of aphid vectors, so it often causes diseases in Solanaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Compositae, Fabaceae and Umbrella in agricultural production. Vegetables and flower plants such as the flowering family are diseased, causing serious losses in yield, quality and ornamental value. [0003] CMV belongs to the Bromoviridae virus genus, and its genome contains three single-stranded RNA molecules. RNA1 encodes protein 1a responsible for viral genome replication; RNA2 encodes protein 2a involved in genome replication and protein 2b involved in RNA silencing inhibition; RNA3 encodes prote...
