Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of antennas, and relates to a frequency polarization reconfigurable monopole antenna based on liquid metal, which comprises a dielectric substrate, a metal patch, a micro-flow tube substrate, a micro-flow pipeline, an injection port and liquid metal. According to the invention, the shape and the size of the antenna are changed by using the flowing characteristic of liquid metal at room temperature, and 50-time frequency polarization reconfiguration within 0.35-18GHz is realized. Liquid metal is used for controlling the length of the monopole antenna, frequency reconfiguration of the antenna is achieved, the liquid metal is used for changing current distribution of the monopole antenna floor, original linear polarization can be changed into circular polarization, and polarization reconfiguration is achieved. Compared with a traditional antenna, the liquid metal antenna can achieve continuous tuning, and the reconfigurable range is large; and secondly, the liquid metal has a relatively strong self-repairing characteristic, so that damage which is difficult to repair, such as fracture or bending, is basically avoided.
