Abstract

The method comprises the steps that after a cloud platform detects a server fault, an AC power-off instruction is issued to a fault server through a baseboard management controller network port, and the AC power-off instruction comprises timing time and a server restart instruction; the server writes timing time into an automatic switch device which is connected with a mainboard and a power supply, independently supplies power and has a time delay function through a baseboard management controller, and the automatic switch device immediately changes from a normally closed state to an open state after receiving an AC power-off instruction so as to disconnect a power supply link of the server mainboard. And after the timing is finished, the open state is changed into the normally closed state so as to enable the mainboard power supply link to recover power supply. After the server detects that the mainboard power supply link recovers power supply, the server automatically powers on the mainboard and restarts the system according to the server restart instruction, so that the server is automatically powered on afterthe alternating current power supply of the server is powered off, and the operation and maintenance burden of operation and maintenance personnel of a data center is reduced.
