Abstract

The invention discloses a method based on distributed fault monitoring and a virtual machine high-availability system. The method comprises the steps: monitoring the state of a physical machine from amanagement network layer, a storage network layer and a business network layer of the physical machine, and detecting the abnormality of the life cycle of the virtual machine and the operation stateof an operation process; and executing different reaction actions in time according to different fault combinations, and recovering the interrupted virtual machine in time. According to the method, the state of a cloud platform is detected from multiple dimensions, unexpected service interruption caused by triggering the same HA operation due to abnormal states of different layers is avoided, different isolation recovery operations are executed according to different faults, unexpected faults caused by service recovery actions are avoided, interruption of other virtual machines due to recoveryof faulty virtual machine services is avoided, and the stability and reliability of the cloud platform are improved. According to the invention, distributed fault detection is realized, and unavailability of a high-availability system caused by a single-node fault is avoided.
