Abstract

The invention relates to bacillus tequilensis S12 for preventing and treating rice blast and an application thereof, and specifically discloses a bacillus tequilensis strain S12, and an application ofthe S12 strain in prevention and treatment of the rice blast. The strain is preserved in China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center, and has a preservation number of CGMCC No. 18347. Thebacillus tequilensis S12 strain and metabolites thereof provided by the invention have strong antagonistic effect on magnaporthe grisea, can significantly inhibit the pathogenicity of the magnaporthegrisea, thereby effectively preventing and treating the rice blast; thus, the bacillus tequilensis S12 strain and the metabolites thereof can be used for biological prevention and treatment of the rice blast.
