Embodiment 1

[0026] In the polymerization reactor, 30 g of octadecylamine polyoxyethylene ether (average degree of polymerization of 5) oxide, 0.45 g of ammonium persulfate initiator, and 3 g of acrylonitrile were sequentially added. Turn on the stirring and control the polymerization temperature to 60°C. After 24 hours of polymerization, some polymer precipitated out. Add ethanol to terminate the polymerization, flocculate and precipitate the polymer, wash with ethanol several times, and dry the product to a constant weight in a vacuum oven at 50°. The final conversion rate was measured to be 77%, and the viscosity average molecular weight was 10.3×10 4 g / mol.

Embodiment 2

[0028] In the polymerization reactor, 30 g of octadecylamine polyoxyethylene ether (average degree of polymerization of 5) oxide, 0.45 g of ammonium persulfate initiator, and 3 g of styrene were sequentially added. The final conversion rate is 57% and the viscosity average molecular weight is 6.5×10 4 g / mol.

Embodiment 3

[0030] In the polymerization reactor, 30 g of octadecylamine polyoxyethylene ether (average degree of polymerization of 5) oxide, 0.45 g of azobisisobutyronitrile initiator, and 3 g of styrene were sequentially added. Turn on the stirring and control the polymerization temperature to 90°C. After 12 hours of polymerization, some polymer precipitated out. Add ethanol to terminate the polymerization, flocculate and precipitate the polymer, wash with ethanol several times, and dry the product to a constant weight in a vacuum oven at 50°. The final conversion rate is 62% and the viscosity average molecular weight is 10.2×10 4 g / mol.

Abstract

The invention discloses a free radical dispersion and polymerization method of a surfactant solvent system. A surfactant solvent is taken as a solvent, an initial initiator and monomers are dissolvedin the surfactant, and the monomers are polymerized in the surfactant. At the beginning of a reaction, the molecular weight of the polymer is low and the polymer can be dispersed in the surfactant; and at the end of polymerization, with increase of the molecular weight of polymer, the polymer can be separated out from the surfactant and is in a dispersion state, so that free radical dispersion andpolymerization are formed. The molecular weight of the polymer can be controlled by adjusting the polymer solubility of the surfactant. According to the method provided by the invention, use of conventional solvents or water is avoided, and the surfactant can be recycled, so that green polymerization is realized.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention belongs to the technical field of polymerization reaction method implementation, and particularly relates to the field of free radical dispersion polymerization. In particular, a free radical dispersion polymerization system is formed by using surfactants and initiator monomers to provide a free-radical solvent system for surfactants. Base dispersion polymerization method. It is characterized by the dispersion effect of surfactants on polymers. After the polymer reaches a certain molecular weight, it gradually precipitates out of the solvent. Background technique [0002] Solution polymerization is a commonly used free radical polymerization method. Its advantages are that the heat of polymerization is easy to diffuse and the temperature of the polymerization reaction is easy to control; it can be directly finished in solution; the material after the reaction is easy to transport; it can eliminate the automatic acceleration phenomenon...
