According to the method, the X-ray fluorescence logging / test data are utilized; the proper objective function is constructed; the inequality constraint and equality constraint of an element response equation are utilized; the volume content of the stratum is rapidly and accurately is obtained by means of inversion by applying the linear programming method; and therefore, cost and time are saved, and the acceleration of domestic shale stratum exploration and developmentcan be facilitated.
