Problems solved by technology

However, the content of U and Pb in calcite and dolomite is low, with an average content of less than 0.2ppm, which is 1 / 1000 to 1 / 10000 of that of zircon and other uranium-rich minerals, which brings great challenges to mass spectrometry.

Embodiment Construction

[0030] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, so that those skilled in the art can implement it with reference to the description.

[0031] It should be noted that the experimental methods described in the following embodiments, unless otherwise specified, are conventional methods, and the reagents and materials, unless otherwise specified, can be obtained from commercial sources.

[0032] The invention provides a method for determining the age of hydrothermal activity in carbonate rock reservoirs, such as figure 1 shown, including the following steps:

[0033] Step 1. Collect and screen samples: systematically collect carbonate reservoir samples in the research area, and ensure that the collected samples are organic-poor samples with fresh sections and not affected by later alteration or metamorphism during the process of collecting samples. Carry out key research on calcite and dolomite samples containi...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for determining the hydrothermal activity age of a carbonate reservoir. The method comprises the following steps: step 1. collecting and screening samples; step 2. performing reservoir petrologic feature analysis on the samples; step 3. performing cathode luminescence analysis on the samples; step 4, performing carbon-oxygen isotope and trace element analysis on the samples; step 5, performing laser in-situ carbonate mineral U- Pb dating on the samples; and step 6, performing hydrothermal activity age analysis on the samples. The method disclosed by the invention has the beneficial effects of simple preprocessing, short test period and high data accuracy.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of oil and gas geological exploration. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for dating hydrothermal activity in carbonate reservoirs. Background technique [0002] Carbonate rocks are the most important oil and gas reservoirs in the world, and about 40% of oil and gas occur in carbonate rock reservoirs. Carbonate reservoirs are rich in oil and gas resources and have great exploration potential. For example, the largest exploration breakthroughs have been made in recent years in carbonate reservoirs such as the Michigan Basin, Tarim Basin, and Sichuan Basin in North America, with huge exploration potential. Compared with clastic sedimentary basins, sedimentary reservoir fluid activities in carbonate sedimentary basins are frequent, and hydrothermal fluids are very common in sedimentary basins, which have an important impact on the water-rock interaction of oil and gas reservoirs. Th...
