Abstract

The application relates to an infrared ranging system. An upper computer can be a mobile terminal, like a mobile phone or a tablet computer, carrying the Android system. A lower computer only includesan infrared ranging sensor, an Arduino chip, and a second wireless communication module; the infrared ranging sensor has a size similar to a matchbox, and the sizes of the Arduino chip and the secondwireless communication module can be ignored. The infrared ranging system formed by absorption of the upper computer and the lower computer can be carried conveniently. A written program is burned inthe Arduino chip; and the Arduino chip processes the data measured by the infrared ranging sensor based on a preset program. Since the program of the Arduino chip is simple and visual by being compared with the single-chip microcomputer, the user is able to change the program of the Arduino chip easily even though the user has no single-chip microcomputer base and can process data measured by theinfrared ranging sensor by using the Arduino chip according to needed processing methods.
