Abstract

According to the technical scheme, the method comprises the steps of placing 1-4wt% of a silicon dioxide micro-powder, 3-6wt% of an activated alumina micro-powder and 2-5wt% of a silica micro-powder in a conical mixer, adding 0.04-0.06wt% of a metal aluminum powder and 0.3-0.5wt% of a polycarboxylic water reducer, and stirring for 20 to 30 minutes to obtain a premix; and mixing the premix, 10-150wt% of silicon carbide having the particle size of 0.088-1 mm, 10-150wt% of silicon carbidehaving the particle size of less than or equal to 0.088 mm, 3-6wt% of CA-70 cement, 2-5wt% of ball pitch and 50-70wt% of fused brown corundum particles with a planetary mixer for 8 to 12 minutes to obtain the iron runner casting material for blast furnaces. The gradations of the fused brown corundum particle are: 15-25wt% for 8-5 mm, 15-20wt% for 5-3 mm, and 20-25wt% for 3-1 mm.
