According to the production method of the shell for the electronic device, which is provided by the embodiment of the application, through forming the texture layer on the inner side surface of the sheet material and carrying out the dyeing treatment on the texture layer, the shell can be enabled to have a color; further, the color of the shell can be enabled to be uniform, natural, high in replicability and further more transparent; and the overall thickness of the shell can be decreased.
