Abstract

The food composition for preventing habitual constipation and senile constipation is composed of the following raw materials: 10-20 parts of hemp seeds, 10-15 parts of fried cassia seeds, 1-5 parts of desertliving cistanche, 2-8 parts of perilla seeds, and 4-10 parts of inulin. The food composition provided by the invention is a scientifically and reasonably combined new resource health-care conditioning foodemploying materials used as both medicine and food, and is used for preventing and treating habitual constipation and senile constipation. The food composition provided by the invention can synergistically exert effects through the scientific compatibility of the above-mentioned raw materials, and can well prevent constipation. The preparation method of the food composition provided by the invention has the advantages of simple process, convenient carrying of the prepared food and low cost. According to test results, a total effective rate for constipation patients taking the food compositionprovided by the present invention is as high as 99%, and a cure rate is as high as 89%.
