The method comprises: according to a to-be-processed image, a first gradient map in an X direction and a second gradient map in a Ydirection of the to-be-processed image are obtained; the first gradient map is inputted into a first neural network to obtained a processed third gradient map; the second gradient map is inputted intoa second neural network to obtain a processed fourth gradient map; and according to the to-be-processed image, the third gradient map, and the fourth gradient map, minimization processing is carriedout to obtain a result image. According to the invention, with the minimized processing method, the to-be-processed image is processed by using the first neural network and the second neural network to obtain the result image, so that the image processing efficiency is improved, the face defects in the to-be-processed image are removed, and an effect of beautifying the face skin in the to-be-processed image is realized.
