Embodiment Construction

[0015] The present invention will be further explained below.

[0016] A method for preparing superfine ferrochrome particles for infiltration method, comprising the steps of:

[0017] 1) Add ferrochrome particle raw material with a particle size of 60 microns and ceramic grinding balls into a ceramic ball mill with a capacity of 1L in a mass ratio of 1:2, wherein the selected ferrochrome raw material is high-carbon chromium with a chromium content of more than 50% iron particles.

[0018] 2) Control the speed of the ceramic ball mill from 150 to 250 r / min and repeat the cycle slowly, grinding for 3 to 4 hours; control the speed increase of the ceramic ball mill to 10 r / min. After the grinding is completed, the particles are sampled and the particle size is measured. At this time, the particle size is about 8 microns.

[0019] 3) After mixing 1-3 grams of graphite powder per 100 grams of ferrochrome particles, continue to grind for 4-6 hours through a ceramic ball mill; afte...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for preparing super-fine ferrochromium particles via a cast-infiltration way. Raw material ferrochromium particles are processed via a combined method of a dry grindingmethod and a wet grinding method, so evenness of the grain size of refined particles and the grain size of finished products can be 2mm; through grinding of step two, grain size of the ferrochromiumis around 8mm; then graphite powder is added for continuous grinding, so a filtration layer can be formed on the surface of a particle; surface hardness can be improved and crack can be avoided; aftergrinding, the ferrochromium particles are calcinated via high temperature and then naturally cooled; and during the natural cooling period, stability of internal performance of the ferrochromium particles can be guaranteed.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for preparing ferrochrome particles used for increasing target surface hardness by casting infiltration. Background technique [0002] Cast infiltration is the process of using the solidification waste heat of pouring metal to make alloy or ceramic powder form a cast infiltration layer with special properties (wear resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, etc.) on the surface of the casting. This process combines casting and surface treatment and completes it at one time. It has the advantages of short production cycle, low energy consumption, and long service life of parts. It has been widely used in metallurgy, mining, machinery and other industries. [0003] The basic principle of casting infiltration is to make reinforced particles into prefabricated blocks, place them in specific parts of the mold, and use high-temperature molten metal to fill the pores of the particles. After the molten metal infiltrate...
