Problems solved by technology

However, a large amount of lactic acid remaining in the grain will increase the acidity of the rumen fluid, which is not conducive to the increase of the pH value of the rumen fluid
In addition, if the room temperature is high (>25°C), grains are prone to mildew and rancidity during the treatment with dilute lactic acid

[0018] 1) Prepare dilute hydrochloric acid (1% concentration): Weigh 9.73kg of tap water and add it to a plastic bucket that can hold 15 kg of water; measure 0.27L of hydrochloric acid with a concentration of 37% and slowly add it to the plastic bucket while Stir while adding (avoid hydrochloric acid from touching the body).

[0019] 2) Weigh 10 kg of corn, wheat, barley and other grains (non-powdered grains should be crushed), and put them into a plastic bucket that can hold 30 kg of water.

[0020] 3) Slowly pour the above 1% dilute hydrochloric acid into the plastic bucket containing the grains, stir evenly (avoid the hydrochloric acid from touching the body), so that the dilute hydrochloric acid can completely submerge the grains, and place it at room temperature for 48 hours.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for treating grain in a ration of beef cattle and cows. The method comprises the following steps: soaking the grain in the ration in 1% diluted hydrochloric acid at aroom temperature for 48 hours, then adding sodium carbonate powder or sodium bicarbonate powder to the soaking solution, conducting uniform mixing for acid-base neutralization, and uniformly mixing the treated grain and other components in the ration. A starch structure of the treated grain in the ration of the beef cattle and the cows is changed, so that a degradation rate of the starch in the grain in a rumen is obviously reduced, and the risk of subacute rumen acidosis is greatly reduced. The method can effectively prevent the pH value of a rumen fluid of the beef cattle and the cows from falling, and also is beneficial for improving the growth speed of the beef cattle and the milk yield of the cows, shortening fattening time and marketing time of the beef cattle, and keeping the rumenhealth of the cattle. The method has great economic value. The method has simple operation and low raw material costs.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of animal breeding, in particular to a method for processing grains in the rations of beef cattle and dairy cattle. Background technique [0002] In beef and dairy cattle production, pasture resources, especially high-quality roughage, often experience seasonal and regional shortages. In this case, in order to meet the nutritional needs of rapid growth of beef cattle and high milk production of dairy cattle, farmers have to use a higher proportion of concentrate in the diet. High-concentration and low-coarse diet structure is likely to cause abnormal rumen metabolism. When cattle eat high-concentrate diets, starch is degraded in large quantities, rumen pH decreases, and rumen microecology changes. Cattle develop rumen acidosis if the rumen pH is below normal. According to the degree and duration of rumen pH drop, rumen acidosis is divided into acute ruminal acidosis (acuteruminal acidosis, ARA) and subacu...
