Embodiment 1

[0033] Experimental animals and diets

[0034] For the experiment, 72 crossbred (Du×Long×Large) castrated boars weaned at 28 days were selected, with an average weight of 8.23±0.34kg. According to the principle of similar body weight, the piglets were randomly divided into 3 treatments, with 8 replicates for each treatment and 3 pigs for each replicate. The test period is 14 days. Add 0, 0.75%, and 1.5% of glycine to the basal diet (corn-soybean meal diet) as the test diet, that is, the dosage ratio of glycine to the basal diet is 0, 0.75g: 1kg, 1.5g: 1kg At the same time, add appropriate amount of alanine to ensure equal nitrogen feeding, and add appropriate amount of corn starch to ensure equal energy feeding. The dietary formula and nutrient level are shown in Table 1, and the alanine and corn starch added in each group are shown in Table 2.

Abstract

The invention discloses a glycine-containing feed additive and applications thereof. The invention aims to protect a feed additive taking glycine as an effective component and following applications 1)-5) of glycine or the feed additive: 1) an application of improving the growth performance of weaned piglets; 2) an application of increasing the content of free glycine in the plasma of the weaned piglets; 3) an application of increasing the content of reduced glutathione in the plasma of the weaned piglets; 4) an application of reducing the contents of glutamine, ammonia, urea and oxidized glutathione in the plasma of the weaned piglets; and 5) an application of reducing the ratio of oxidized glutathione to reduced glutathione in the plasma of the weaned piglets. By adding glycine in the daily ration, the average daily feed intake, average daily gain and feed conversion efficiency of weaned piglets of 8-15kg can be obviously increased. Tests show that by adding 0.75% or 1.5% of glycine into the corn-bean meal daily ration for the weaned piglets of 8-15kg, the best growth performance of the weaned piglets can be favorably exerted.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of feed and relates to a feed additive containing glycine and its application. Background technique [0002] Weaning can bring physiological, behavioral and nutritional changes to mammals. Early weaning of piglets, due to the environmental, dietary and psychological changes caused by them, brings stress to the piglets and adversely affects the piglets. It is manifested by reduced feed intake, reduced feed conversion rate, slow growth, and diarrhea. Intestinal diseases such as indigestion and atrophy of intestinal villi. Therefore, the nutritional supply of piglets at this stage is particularly important. [0003] The latest U.S. National Research Council (NRC) database (2012) has no recommendations on the dietary glycine requirements of piglets at each growth and development stage. This may not only be due to the lack of relevant experimental data, but also due to insufficient understanding of the nutritional, physiologic...
