Abstract

The invention discloses an image encryption method based on multi-parameter fractional-order discrete Tchebichef transformation, and relates to the technical field of digital image processing and information safety. The method comprises the steps: employing the transformation order number of fractional orders of an image block, the initial value of a generation sequence and system parameters as the secret key of image encryption, and then carrying out the encryption of an image. The image decryption process is an inverse process of the above process, and comprises the steps: decrypting the encrypted image through a right secret key and a wrong secret key, and respectively obtaining a right decrypted image and a wrong decrypted image. Experiment analysis indicates that the method provided by the invention is very high in safety. The method increases the secret key space, and improves the safety of an encryption system. In addition, a ciphertext image obtained through the method provided by the invention is a real-value image, and the size of the ciphertext image is the same as the size of an original image, thereby facilitating the displaying, transmission and storage.
