Abstract

The invention discloses an application of French marigold general flavone extract in the preparation of anti-prostatitis drugs. A preparation method of the French marigold general flavone extract comprises the following steps: 1, extracting French marigold by an ethanol-water solution at least one time to obtain an extract liquid, and concentrating the extract liquid to obtain a concentrate; 2, degreasing the concentrate by a degreasing solvent to obtain a degreased concentrate; and 3, separating and purifying the degreased concentrate to obtain the French marigold general flavone extract. The weight content of general flavones in the French marigold general flavone extract, detected through colourimetry, is higher than 30%. Pharmacological test proves that the French marigold general flavone extract has high anti-prostatitis activity, and can be applied to preparations of the anti-prostatitis drugs individually or after being combined with other drugs. The purity of the general flavones in the French marigold general flavone extract prepared through the method is high, and the preparation method is simple, so the extract is suitable for industrial production; and the French marigold general flavone extract can be used for preparing the anti-prostatitis drugs.
