The invention discloses a high-robustness audio / video cross watermarking algorithm, which is characterized by decoding a video code stream, and generating a video watermark by utilizing inter-frame correlation of a video; decoding an audio code stream, and generating an audio watermark by utilizing low-pass amplitude statistic characteristics of the audio code stream; embedding the audio watermark into a video key frame through a visual salience model; and embedding the video watermark into a lower-frequency coefficient of the audio code stream through a superposition method. The high-robustness audio / video cross watermarking algorithm has the following beneficial effects that 1) the watermarks are generated by using the audio / video code stream characteristics and the watermarks are generated dynamically in real time in the carrier video decoding process, so that uncertainty of the embedded watermarks improves safety of the algorithm; and 2) the audio code stream and the video code stream are embedded with the watermarks respectively, so that even if one code stream is damaged and the watermark cannot be extracted, the watermark san still be extracted from the other code stream, the carrier video is protected more comprehensively and effectively, and watermarking robustness is improved greatly.
