The roller cooling method and device provided by the invention can increase the cooling velocity of a roller which is dismounted from a rolling mill, reduces influence of thermal deflection caused by uneven cooling of the roller, and thus improves the grinding accuracy of a working roller to obtain an original roller shape expected by a process system.
