According to the method, water frozen in advance in materials is removed directly by ice state sublimation in a form as water vapor under high vacuum states and by utilization of a sublimation principle without the step of ice melting, thus achieving the objective of freeze-drying. The chrysanthemum morifolium prepared by the method can rapidly rehydrate and reinstate when being used as tea, and can be reinstated to a degree that fiber characteristics of the reinstated chrysanthemum morifolium can be same with that of a fresh product.
