Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for preparing natural gas by using coke oven gas. The method comprises that: (a) coke oven gas is introduced into an organic waste anaerobic treatment reactor; (b) under the effect of microorganisms in the anaerobic reactor, the organic waste is subjected to anaerobic decomposition to generate biogas adopting CH4 and CO2 as the main components, CO2 and the H2 in the coke oven gas are combined to generate CH4, and the CO and the CO2 in the coke oven gas and H2 generate CH4 so as to finally obtain the biogas adopting CH4 as the main component; and (c) separating and removing impurities in the biogas obtained in the step (b) so as to obtain the high methane content natural gas. Compared with the method in the prior art, the method of the present invention has the following advantages that the coke oven gas is introduced into the anaerobic reactor by using the microorganism to prepare the natural gas, the addition of the catalyst is not required, the high temperature and the high pressure are not required, most of the components in the coke oven gas can be converted into methane, and the new method is provided for solving of the problems of resource shortage, environmental pollution, irrational energy source structure and the like in the energy source field.
